USCIS Immigration Physical Exam
Cary Medical Clinic offers the Immigration Physical Exam at our doctor’s office that’s conveniently located at our Cary, NC location. Dr. Neelu Agarwal, MD is designated as a Civil Surgeon for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS). A USCIS approved Civil Surgeon is required to perform the Immigration Physical as part of the entry and/or residency application process. This includes application for green card, citizenship or permanent residency in the United States. The medical exam form I-693 that is completed during the Immigration Physical is used to determine admissibility to the U.S. on medical grounds.
USCIS Immigration Physical Exam Requirements
The US immigration medical requirements are determined by the USCIS guidelines. The components of each medical examination vary based on the age of the applicant and whether the applicant can provide written immunization records / proof of vaccination.
